The Festival is aimed at the great outdoor lifestyle that is inland South Africa. The festival takes place at the Chelmsford (Ntshingwayo) dam 15 km outside Newcastle on the N11 to Ladysmith.
Come and enjoy the country atmoshere set in a KZN Ezemvelo Wildlife Sanctuary. We have some great headline attractions lined up, with many being firsts for Northern KZN.
Some of the activities taking place during the event are Dragon Boat Racing / Challenge / Demos, a wakeboarding competition, a farmers market and more. The SAB Miller sound stage presents the Durban Philharmonic & others. A band display from the Scottish Pipe & Drums can also be enjoyed.
For the adventurous or those who wish to be a bit more active, you can take part in the Eco Challenge Adventure Race, watch the SAPS water wing demo or take part in the various fishing competitons or the mountain bike challenge.
Everyone will find something to do and be entertained by during this event so you can bring the whole family for two days of fun at the Dam.
