There is a standard 42.2km marathon as well as a 10km Run/Walk, a 10km Professional walk, a 10km Wheelchair race and a 5km Fun Run is offered for those enthusiasts just looking to get out and experience Soweto.

The marathon starts and ends at the NASREC Expo Centre.
