Panorama, Cape Town North

Panorama
View of Table Mountain, Cape Town

Panorama, which lies just off the N1 off ramp, 20 minutes’ from Cape Town between the V&A Waterfront and the Durbanville wine estates, probably earned itself the name ‘Panorama’ for the magnificent views of Table Mountain from here.

The suburb’s main claim to fame is the Panorama medi-clinic, arguably one of the top hospitals in Cape Town, and its quiet suburban life. A good place to base yourself when in Cape Town, you’re only 10 minutes’ away from shopping centres, both Century City and Tygervalley are perfect venues for losing yourself for hours to the pleasures of retail therapy, and the beaches for which Cape Town is famous are only a half hour away. You’re close to the wine estates of Stellenbosch and Durbanville, and the city centre is virtually on your doorstep.
