Winemakers Cottage @ Kalmoesfontein is over 100 years old and is set between old vineyards, a veggie garden and farm dam. It sleeps four adults and one children (on request). There are two en-suite bedrooms, the first is furnished with a King-size bed and the second room is furnished with two single beds. The bathrooms are fitted with roll top bath / shower, toilet, basin and additional outdoor shower. Locally sourced, all-natural selection of toiletries is provided. There is underfloor heating in both bedrooms and bathrooms as well as air conditioners in all rooms. You will find good quality linen and towels, a small safe, hairdryer and USB plug-points beside the beds as well as in the living area for charging.; Curl up in winter with a Xhosa blanket on the sofa in front of the large indoor fireplace and enjoy a bottle of our family wine. Complimentary WIFI is available in the cottage, however please note there is no TV. Complimentary coffee, teas, milk & sugar available in the kitchen as well as farm baked rusks, muesli and freshly baked bread for your first morning breakfast. Enjoy our free range eggs and help yourself to our veggie / herb garden (whatever is in season) We do have a Nespresso machine for your use and a complimentary pod is made available for each person. Should you wish to further make use of this machine please do bring extra capsules, otherwise we have good quality freshly ground coffee available for your enjoyment. There is a large 'stoep' with various lounging areas in which to relax and enjoy the view as well as an outdoor barrel braai and dining area (wood and firelighters provided).

      Why do I have to pay a deposit?

      This is a sign of good faith. Properties hold rooms for you, which they could sell to someone else, so if you don't turn up, they lose revenue. By paying a deposit of 50% (industry standard) you show the property that you are intending to arrive and they will accordingly turn others away.
