Winchester Cottage is a self catering cottage that overlooks the breathtaking Giants Castle. The cottage can accommodate up to four guests, has two bedrooms, one bathroom and an open-plan kitchen, dining and living area. The first bedroom has a Queen-size bed and the second bedroom has two single beds. The bathroom has a bath, shower and toilet. There is also a separate toilet. The kitchen is fully equipped and includes a stove, oven, microwave and a fridge. The cosy living area features a fireplace, for those chilly nights, and wood is provided. Enjoy a cup of tea with rusks and fresh milk provided. We also provide free Wi-Fi and DStv / satellite channels. The spectacular views will not disappoint, especially when enjoying a relaxing evening braai on the patio. The cottage can be serviced daily at an additional. Undercover parking is available. Low clearance vehicle not advised.

    Why do I have to pay a deposit?

    This is a sign of good faith. Properties hold rooms for you, which they could sell to someone else, so if you don't turn up, they lose revenue. By paying a deposit of 50% (industry standard) you show the property that you are intending to arrive and they will accordingly turn others away.

    Can I pay the deposit at month end?

    That depends on the property. Many have real time booking calendars, allowing people to book instantly online. If that's the case, bookings are first-come-first-book, and no rooms will be held provisionally unless specifically arranged. Send a request and ask for a specific payment date and they'll get back to you.

    What is 3D Secure?

    This is a security layer which checks that the person making the payment is the authorised cardholder by way of a one-time pin delivered by SMS or a secret code, ensuring the safety of your card.
