Waterlea On River Tented Cabins offer accommodation on the banks of the Teebus River in a lush forest 65km from Middelburg. This is a working farm with horses, sheep and cattle. The tents accommodate a total of eight guests.

Self Catering Accommodation

Waterlea On River Tented Cabins self catering units are 4m above the water in a poplar forest with decks extending over the river. These tents are unique and secluded. Away from the hustle and bustle. You just hear the river coming past and the birds chirping in the trees.

All tents have a microwave, induction stove with kettle, tea, coffee and fresh milk.

On request we can organise horse riding, picnic on a karoo koppie or white water rafting for you as an extra. You can get the full karoo experience. The perfect place to relax and take in nature. The birdlife is just spectacular.

The location is beautiful right here on the water with the trees. Tented cabins have everything we needed and was clean. Hosts were great and checked in to see if we needed anything. Very relaxing spot with a lot of bird life. You can swim in the river and we also took a walk around the farm. Beautiful area.. will definitely visit again.
