Accommodation

Dwarsvlei Guest House in Middelburg boasts beautiful high ceilings with old British architecture surrounded by an exquisite garden hidden away in a secret poplar forest.

The guest house boast three types of rooms, the Princess Room, Standard Room and Family Room. The Princess room is for those who would like a little bit of pampering during their stay in the Karoo. There is one standard room upstairs which boasts beautiful views up onto the Renosterberg mountain. There is also a unique family room upstairs which can fit a family of four.

This is a beautiful house with old Karoo house charms and quirks, there are no modern amenities such as en-suite bathrooms or open plan living. We try to keep the authenticity of the house by maintaining the old fittings and furniture. Staying in this old house is an experience in itself.

Activities

Dwarsvlei farm is on the slopes of Renosterberg, part of the Sneeuberg mountain range. This rugged, unspoilt mountain is a wonderful place in which to mountain bike, hike and explore. With beautiful vegetation and abundant wildlife, guests are sure to have a wonderful time.
