Art Deco Villa offers accommodation in Middelburg. The villa is built in Art Deco style; this original Smid Street house was built by Tiny Post, a lawyer and partner in Du Plessis and Post, in the 1930s. The current owner has decided the best way to preserve this treasure is to develop it as a guesthouse.

Take a breath in the shade of karee, white stinkwood and olive trees and rejuvenate in the peace and tranquillity of our beautiful garden with abundant bird life. Fill your lungs with the smell of Karoo veld and wild herbs that only the Karoo can offer you.

Accommodation

Each bedroom and the living room have under floor heating and double wooden window doors that open onto sidewalks. There are only two rooms which are offered on a bed only basis.

Location

Middelburg Karoo is surrounded by neighbouring towns like Colesberg, Steynsburg, Hofmeyr, Cradock, Graaff Reinet, Nieu Bethesda, Richmond and Hanover. It is also located halfway between Johannesburg and Cape Town, making it a natural stopover.
