Chalet 1 is extremely spacious with two king size bedrooms, one with a sleeper couch in the room for children. In the bedroom there is a personal lounge area leading onto a dressing room and full modern bathroom. The kitchen is open plan with a nice lounge and extensive patio with a table. Two more single beds can be put into the dressing rooms for children or young guests on request. Down a few steps is the sunroom, still part of Chalet 1, with a double bed, coffee facilities and a shower, basin and toilet with a great view. For self-catering guests each chalet has its own braai. WIFI, wood, ice and daily service of the chalet is included.

Chalet 2, 3 and 4 each have their own kitchen, lounge and table on the patio for alfresco meals. Each has a spacious double bedroom with a dressing room and a full separate modern bathroom with oversized shower, bath, basin and toilet. Upstairs are twin beds in the cosy loft room. For self-catering guests each chalet has its own braai. WIFI, wood, ice and daily service of the chalet is included.

    Why do I have to pay a deposit?

    This is a sign of good faith. Properties hold rooms for you, which they could sell to someone else, so if you don't turn up, they lose revenue. By paying a deposit of 50% (industry standard) you show the property that you are intending to arrive and they will accordingly turn others away.

    Can I pay the deposit at month end?

    That depends on the property. Many have real time booking calendars, allowing people to book instantly online. If that's the case, bookings are first-come-first-book, and no rooms will be held provisionally unless specifically arranged. Send a request and ask for a specific payment date and they'll get back to you.

    What is 3D Secure?

    This is a security layer which checks that the person making the payment is the authorised cardholder by way of a one-time pin delivered by SMS or a secret code, ensuring the safety of your card.

    3D secure is a legislated prerequisite for all online purchases in South Africa.
