About Ulusaba Safari Lodge
Sir Richard Branson's Ulusaba Safari Lodge is located beneath a canopy of ancient trees on the edge of a dry riverbed in the Sabi Sand Game Reserve. Ulusaba Private Game Reserve is located in the western sector of the Sabi Sand Reserve, near Kruger National Park in the Mpumalanga province of South Africa.

Accommodation
The rooms include a Treehouse Suite overlooking a nearby Dam while other rooms have their own private plunge pools. All of the rooms afford magnificent views of the spectacularly scenic surrounding landscape and of the animals as they stroll past on their way to the nearby watering hole. The rooms are built 'tree house' style and you really get the feeling of being at the heart of life in the bush. Lodge Facilities
Lodge facilities include swimming pools, gymnasiums, a wine cellar, spas with panoramic views, a Bush Observatory perfect for stargazing and tennis courts. Guests can enjoy safari walks, moonlit bush dinners and of course, the twice daily game drives.
Dining
At Ulusaba dining is a very important part of your stay, and our chefs work hard from morning until night to provide the freshest and tastiest meals possible. All meals and drinks are included in your rates, and with at least six opportunities per day to eat, we promise you won't go hungry!
Our internationally renowned chefs have developed numerous pan-African dishes influenced by many African cultures, flavours and spices. Our recipes are constantly refreshed and consist of seasonal, local ingredients.
Whether dining under the African sky, in the Boma, on a deck or in the dining room, our menus and meals promise to be exciting, social and inspirational. All our breads and pastries are home baked daily and we also cater for private meals and special occasions.
Wildlife Experiences
As Ulusaba is privately owned, you'll be able to enjoy over 13 500 hectares of unspoilt, game-rich bush in near solitude. Experienced trackers and game rangers will accompany you on game drives in open land rovers, tracking the Big Five and sharing with you their vast knowledge of the surrounding wildlife. River Room
Built tree house style and very private, the River Rooms are each approximately 100 sqm. All are very spacious with snuggling seating areas and striking views of the river bed or bush. Ideal for those celebrating or enjoying a romantic escape as these rooms are secluded and tucked between jackalberry trees. All are very spacious and offer en-suite bathrooms with views. River Room 1 and 3 have a spacious terrace but no plunge pool. Each River Room has a King Size bed (that can split into Twins), air conditioning, ceiling fans and mosquito nets. All rooms supplied with bottled water, spray-on insect repellent, Africology toiletries, hairdryer, bathrobes and slippers. Complimentary Wi-Fi access is available. Elephant Room
The spacious Elephant Rooms are approximately 60 sqm each with en-suite bathrooms and large viewing decks offering stunning views over the bush. Elephants regularly use a migratory route that passes by these rooms which allow for excellent up-close-and-personal game viewing. The location of the Elephant Rooms are ideal for friends travelling together or families with teens wishing to be close to their parents. Built tree house style high above the bush, the Elephant Rooms are accessed via a wooden walkway from the Main Lodge. Treehouse Suite
The Ulusaba Treehouse Suite is approximately 160 sqm. A spacious and very private suite featuring a private deck with views over Xikwenga Dam where hippos and elephants come to bathe. There is also a large viewing deck adjacent to the room perfect for breakfasts, lunches and private dinners accommodating 16 people. The Treehouse Suite is an approximate 10 minute walk from the main lodge and is accessible by swing bridges and raised walkways. The Treehouse Suite has a King Size bed (that cannot split into Twins), air conditioning, ceiling fans and mosquito nets. Complimentary Wi-Fi access is available.
