Tranquil Guest Cottage has two bedrooms which are accessed by a spiral staircase. Upstairs there is also a workspace. One bedroom is furnished with a double bed and the other is furnished with two single beds. The rooms open onto a veranda with table and chairs where guests can enjoy sundowners or breakfast. The rooms also have a safe for valuables, a walk in closet and two chairs. The bathroom downstairs is fitted with a shower, toilet, basin and has complimentary toiletries. The open plan living area has a kitchen that is equipped for self-catering with a fridge, oven and gas stove, microwave and kettle. A starter supply of coffee, tea and milk are available. Thereafter you must supply your own. The lounge is furnished with four chairs and a wall-mounted flat-screen TV with satellite channels. Free Wi-Fi is also available. Guests have access to their own private braai area and another veranda with a table and chairs.

    Why do I have to pay a deposit?

    This is a sign of good faith. Properties hold rooms for you, which they could sell to someone else, so if you don't turn up, they lose revenue. By paying a deposit of 50% (industry standard) you show the property that you are intending to arrive and they will accordingly turn others away.

    Can I pay the deposit at month end?

    That depends on the property. Many have real time booking calendars, allowing people to book instantly online. If that's the case, bookings are first-come-first-book, and no rooms will be held provisionally unless specifically arranged. Send a request and ask for a specific payment date and they'll get back to you.

    What is 3D Secure?

    This is a security layer which checks that the person making the payment is the authorised cardholder by way of a one-time pin delivered by SMS or a secret code, ensuring the safety of your card.
