The Padlooper

A hidden retro cabin surrounded by the most beautiful views. Sleeps 2 guests. It is only 500m from the main chalets but a 4x4 is essential. Solar power provides electricity and hot water. There is a gas oven and hob for cooking, and of course a braai on the deck.

The Hinge-Back

It sits higher than the others, commanding outstanding views. This chalet is ideal for the larger family with its spacious lounge. There is a well equipped kitchen, bathroom with shower and a large deck with braai. One bedroom is on the lower floor the other is in the loft accessed by a unique spiral staircase. The chalet is easily accessed by a standard car.

    Why do I have to pay a deposit?

    This is a sign of good faith. Properties hold rooms for you, which they could sell to someone else, so if you don't turn up, they lose revenue. By paying a deposit of 50% (industry standard) you show the property that you are intending to arrive and they will accordingly turn others away.

    Can I pay the deposit at month end?

    That depends on the property. Many have real time booking calendars, allowing people to book instantly online. If that's the case, bookings are first-come-first-book, and no rooms will be held provisionally unless specifically arranged. Send a request and ask for a specific payment date and they'll get back to you.

    What is 3D Secure?

    This is a security layer which checks that the person making the payment is the authorised cardholder by way of a one-time pin delivered by SMS or a secret code, ensuring the safety of your card.

    3D secure is a legislated prerequisite for all online purchases in South Africa.
