Luca’s Lodge is a two-roomed executive suite. The bedroom has a double antique wooden bed and looks out onto a private veranda and garden. The bathroom has both a bath and shower. The second room is a lounge area with TV which has two single beds. The rooms are separated by a small foyer. All linen is 100% cotton. Duvets and pillows are all down filled. The suite is not self-catering but it has tea and coffee making facilities.

Sixpence Cottage is a pet-friendly self-catering unit located within the hotel grounds. It has 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom with a shower only (wet room), a fully equipped kitchen, a living area with a couch and a dinner table for 2 (can seat 4 when chairs are brought from the kitchen table), which leads out onto a veranda and a private, fenced in garden. The main bedroom has a double antique brass bed, Restassured mattress with crisp white 100% cotton linen and a down duvet, a vintage dressing table and wardrobe. Well-behaved pets may stay by arrangement and due to the central location of the cottage, only a 3 minute walk to the river, your furkids will have the time of their lives. Stanford itself has a wandelpad all along the river, but if you’re looking for pet-friendly hikes and beach walks, we can advise you where to go. There is also secure parking; perfect for boats, kayak trailers and fully kitted 4×4’s, a small braai that belongs to the cottage and a bench located under the old Milkwood tree that shades a large section of the garden.

If cancelling 89 days before arrival, forfeit 50% of the deposit.
