The Boathouse exceeded my most optimistic expectations. The house was gorgeous and perfectly appointed. It is beautifully decorated and generous. The views are exceptional and it was a joy to swim in the dam and walk amongst the olive trees. The olive farm is a revelation with its exquisite produce and fabulous tasting room. The cherry on the cake were the 2 adorable dogs who visited us in the boathouse, keeping us company. I can’t think of a nicer place to stay if you like tranquility and comfort.

Lovely spot, very tranquil, spacious home with everything you need for a comfortable stay. It was good that we are dog lovers because the little Jack Russell and Pointer were constant companions who also love this as space😊

I can honestly say that the weekend we have just spent at The Boathouse exceeded all our expectations. We stayed an extra night because we didn't want to leave. The house is so well equipped and the hosts have thought of everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Chilled wine & chocolates on arrival, teas/coffee and rusks, farm olives, games and plenty of wood. There is a hot tub, plenty of comfortable lounging and sundowner spots, wifi and a smart TV for movie nights and it was a joy to not experience any load-shedding thanks to the farm's back up generator. Absolute peace & tranquility with beautiful views, easy walks and even a paddle on the dam. The olive tasting was informative and delicious. Highly recommend a visit. We will be back!

What a beautiful quiet setting, perfect to recharge. The two resident dogs were a bonus.

An absolutely beautiful farm and setting nestled in the mountains, the accommodation was amazing. The house is lovely, the bed was extremely comfortable and the views are out of this world. There is everything you need in the cottage, and lovely extra touches of chilled wine, rusks, milk, teas, coffees and even some chocolate! Beautiful hiking trails and the kayaking was great fun. The olive tasting is great, and Sue was so accommodating. Had a wonderful weekend, it was so peaceful and tranquil. Certainly one of the best places we have ever been to. The 2 farm dogs joined for our daily walks and were a great addition to the weekend, they were so sweet. We will certainly be back!
