The Bay House has six bedrooms. The main bedroom is furnished with a King-size bed and has an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower, toilet and basin. The second bedroom is furnished with two three-quarter beds and the bathroom is fitted with a shower, bath, toilet and basin. The third and fourth bedrooms are each furnished with King-size beds and have en-suite bathrooms fitted with a shower. The fourth en-suite bathroom also has a bath. Bedroom five and six are furnished with Queen-size beds and share a bathroom fitted with a shower, toilet and basin. The open-plan living areas ensure you have stunning views over the Atlantic Ocean and on to the back of Table Mountain. The house is equipped with a Chef's kitchen for those wishing to have their lunches and/or dinners catered. This must be booked before arrival. The main kitchen for everyday use is well equipped with a gas hob, built-in oven and microwave, fridge-freezer as well as a dishwasher. Two dining rooms and two lounges (one with a fireplace) ensure there is ample space for everyone to relax. There is a smart TV with satellite channels and free uncapped Wi-Fi. The outdoor pool (10m x 4m) area is the ideal place to lounge in the sun or have a BBQ, either gas or wood, and there is a pizza oven as well. An outdoor dining table can be enjoyed for those beautiful summer days when having a BBQ alongside the pool. With a gate leading directly to the beach, guests can enjoy a leisurely walk along the beachfront in front of the property. The most recent addition to the property is the stunning sunset deck which ensures you have a 360-degree view over the bay. Cleaning three days per week is included. Should guests wish additional cleaning, this will be at an additional daily rate.

    Why do I have to pay a deposit?

    This is a sign of good faith. Properties hold rooms for you, which they could sell to someone else, so if you don't turn up, they lose revenue. By paying a deposit of 50% (industry standard) you show the property that you are intending to arrive and they will accordingly turn others away.

    Can I pay the deposit at month end?

    That depends on the property. Many have real time booking calendars, allowing people to book instantly online. If that's the case, bookings are first-come-first-book, and no rooms will be held provisionally unless specifically arranged. Send a request and ask for a specific payment date and they'll get back to you.

    What is 3D Secure?

    This is a security layer which checks that the person making the payment is the authorised cardholder by way of a one-time pin delivered by SMS or a secret code, ensuring the safety of your card.

    3D secure is a legislated prerequisite for all online purchases in South Africa.
