The house is ideal for accommodating a couple with teenagers or two couples. Located just minutes from the main beach, you can sit on the patio and listen to the sound of the waves while admiring the vista of the surrounding mountains. The self catering Holiday Home has two bedrooms; one is furnished with a double bed and the other has twin beds. Both have an en-suite bathroom with a shower and both open onto the patio. There is a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher and washing machine. Meals can be enjoyed at the small dining table and the comfortably furnished lounge, which has a fireplace opens onto the front patio. The Bay Cottage has a lovely, spacious paved outside area with a small swimming pool, sun loungers and a sheltered area which is the perfect place to sit and enjoy a drink.

    Why do I have to pay a deposit?

    This is a sign of good faith. Properties hold rooms for you, which they could sell to someone else, so if you don't turn up, they lose revenue. By paying a deposit of 50% (industry standard) you show the property that you are intending to arrive and they will accordingly turn others away.

    Can I pay the deposit at month end?

    That depends on the property. Many have real time booking calendars, allowing people to book instantly online. If that's the case, bookings are first-come-first-book, and no rooms will be held provisionally unless specifically arranged. Send a request and ask for a specific payment date and they'll get back to you.

    What is 3D Secure?

    This is a security layer which checks that the person making the payment is the authorised cardholder by way of a one-time pin delivered by SMS or a secret code, ensuring the safety of your card.

    3D secure is a legislated prerequisite for all online purchases in South Africa.
