Wisteria, the original cottage at Swannie Creek, is the heart of the property and the inspiration behind its charming architectural style and natural finishes. This warm and welcoming wooden cottage offers three comfortable bedrooms and two bathrooms, including one en-suite bathroom.

Wisteria Cottage accommodates up to six guests and two infants (0–3 years) in a charming three-bedroom cottage with two bathrooms.

The main bedroom is furnished with a king-size bed and has an en-suite bathroom fitted with a bath, shower, basin, and toilet. The second and third bedrooms each feature twin beds that can be converted into king-size beds on request, offering flexible sleeping arrangements for families or groups. Cots are available for infants on request. The second bathroom is fitted with a shower, basin, and toilet. Linen and towels are provided.

The open-plan living area is warm and inviting, with a fully equipped kitchen that includes a fridge-freezer, gas stove, microwave, dishwasher, cutlery, crockery, and tea- and coffee-making facilities. The lounge and dining area offer comfortable seating, a smart TV with streaming services, complimentary Wi-Fi, and an indoor fireplace for cosy evenings during cooler months.

Guests can relax on the outdoor patio with seating and braai facilities, or gather around the traditional boma firepit beneath the stars. The private wood-fired hot tub offers a peaceful place to unwind while enjoying the surrounding natural beauty.

The property also features a natural bio-pool, providing a refreshing outdoor swimming experience in harmony with the environment. Secure parking is available on site, and the cottage is designed to offer comfort, privacy, and a slow countryside lifestyle immersed in nature.

    Why do I have to pay a deposit?

    This is a sign of good faith. Properties hold rooms for you, which they could sell to someone else, so if you don't turn up, they lose revenue. By paying a deposit of 50% (industry standard) you show the property that you are intending to arrive and they will accordingly turn others away.

    Can I pay the deposit at month end?

    That depends on the property. Many have real time booking calendars, allowing people to book instantly online. If that's the case, bookings are first-come-first-book, and no rooms will be held provisionally unless specifically arranged. Send a request and ask for a specific payment date and they'll get back to you.

    What is 3D Secure?

    This is a security layer which checks that the person making the payment is the authorised cardholder by way of a one-time pin delivered by SMS or a secret code, ensuring the safety of your card.
