Sunbird Chalet is a spacious and private one-bedroom retreat designed for two guests.

The open-plan living area combines a fully equipped kitchen, dining space, and lounge. The kitchen includes all essential appliances such as a gas stove and oven, microwave, kettle, toaster, and a fridge with freezer, making self-catering simple and convenient.

The lounge, separated by a built-in bar counter with two stools, offers comfortable seating, a sleeper couch, a coffee table, a fan, and a built-in fireplace. A TV, DVD player with a selection available at reception, and Wi-Fi provide added convenience and entertainment.

The bedroom features either a king-sized bed or two single beds with quality mattresses, along with bedside tables, lamps, and a wardrobe. All linen is provided. The separate bathroom includes a bath with a handheld shower, toilet, and basin, with towels supplied.

Doors from the lounge lead onto a veranda with seating, overlooking a private, fully fenced and gated garden. The outdoor area includes built-in braai and bonfire facilities, ideal for relaxed evenings.

      Why do I have to pay a deposit?

      This is a sign of good faith. Properties hold rooms for you, which they could sell to someone else, so if you don't turn up, they lose revenue. By paying a deposit of 50% (industry standard) you show the property that you are intending to arrive and they will accordingly turn others away.

      Can I pay the deposit at month end?

      That depends on the property. Many have real time booking calendars, allowing people to book instantly online. If that's the case, bookings are first-come-first-book, and no rooms will be held provisionally unless specifically arranged.
