River House has four en-suite bedrooms. The first bedroom is upstairs and furnished with a double bed, seating area and has an en-suite bathroom fitted with a bath, shower, toilet and basin. The second upstairs room is furnished with two single beds and has an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower, toilet and basin. The other two bedrooms are downstairs, one furnished with a double bed and the other is furnished with two single beds. The en-suite bathrooms are fitted with a shower, toilet and basin. Upstairs is an air-conditioned lounge with comfortable seating, a dining table and opens onto a covered balcony with seating and an 8-seater dining table. There is a fireplace and ceiling fan. The downstairs kitchen is fully equipped and has a separate scullery with a dishwasher and washing machine. The dining area has an 8-seater dining table. There is also a day bed. Outside is a lapa with outdoor dining table, a fire pit, Jacuzzi and a splash pool with sun loungers.

    Why do I have to pay a deposit?

    This is a sign of good faith. Properties hold rooms for you, which they could sell to someone else, so if you don't turn up, they lose revenue. By paying a deposit of 50% (industry standard) you show the property that you are intending to arrive and they will accordingly turn others away.

    Can I pay the deposit at month end?

    That depends on the property. Many have real time booking calendars, allowing people to book instantly online. If that's the case, bookings are first-come-first-book, and no rooms will be held provisionally unless specifically arranged. Send a request and ask for a specific payment date and they'll get back to you.

    What is 3D Secure?

    This is a security layer which checks that the person making the payment is the authorised cardholder by way of a one-time pin delivered by SMS or a secret code, ensuring the safety of your card.
