The Olive Cabin is the perfect getaway for couples. The bedroom is furnished with a double bed. All linen and towels are provided. The Old Olive is totally off-grid and there are solar lights that come on in the evening. The cabin is situated right in the forest. Fully equipped kitchen with minibar fridge, pots, pans, cutlery and crockery and a double gas plate for cooking. The Honeybee Suite, a tented room for two, is the perfect rustic getaway. The hot tub is situated underneath a white stinkwood tree and uses untreated river water for a really authentic experience! The suite offers double bed with mosquito net,all linen, towels and bedding provided.The walls of the bedroom are canvas blinds that can be rolled up as desired. If we, at our discretion, allow any change in booking dates once the booking has been confirmed and paid for, a R250.00 admin fee will be levied per change requested.

We hold guests to our cancellation policy as we are a small, privately owned Nature Reserve that strives to offer our guests a best quality stay while at the same time remaining affordable, eco-friendly and sustainable – we can only do so by having fair conditions in place.

When making payment, you acknowledge that all Platbos Forest Reserve facilities are used at your own risk and that the owners are not responsible for injury or loss of whatever nature.

How to confirm?
Deposits are required to confirm a booking, usually 50% but sometimes as high as 100% depending on season and time till check-in.

Cancellation policy
If cancelling 14 days before arrival, forfeit 100% of the deposit.
If cancelling 28 days before arrival, forfeit 50% of the deposit.
If cancelling 999 days before arrival, forfeit 10% of the deposit.
