Pelican's Nest Holiday Home has three bedrooms and sleeps up to six guests. The main bedroom has a Queen size bed with an en-suite bathroom with a shower only. The second bedroom with a Queen size bed, and the 3rd bedroom is furnished with two single beds which can also be made into a King size bed for a couple. The second bathroom has a bath and a shower. The sun room / reading room also has two sleeper couches should you need to sleep additional persons. There is a comfortable open plan living area with a lounge that has a TV, DStv and a DVD player and a dining room table. There is free Wi-Fi and air conditioning in the living area. The fully equipped kitchen has everything you will require for a self catering holiday. Outside there is a patio with a small pool and a braai / BBQ area. The serene garden is home to an abundance of birds and around the back of the house there is a jungle gym for the kids. There are two garages and outside parking for your vehicles.

    Why do I have to pay a deposit?

    This is a sign of good faith. Properties hold rooms for you, which they could sell to someone else, so if you don't turn up, they lose revenue. By paying a deposit of 50% (industry standard) you show the property that you are intending to arrive and they will accordingly turn others away.

    Can I pay the deposit at month end?

    That depends on the property. Many have real time booking calendars, allowing people to book instantly online. If that's the case, bookings are first-come-first-book, and no rooms will be held provisionally unless specifically arranged. Send a request and ask for a specific payment date and they'll get back to you.

    What is 3D Secure?

    This is a security layer which checks that the person making the payment is the authorised cardholder by way of a one-time pin delivered by SMS or a secret code, ensuring the safety of your card.

    3D secure is a legislated prerequisite for all online purchases in South Africa.
