Ostrich Hide has two large bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. The main bedroom is furnished with an XL King-size bed and the second bedroom is furnished with two XL single beds which can be joined together as a King-size bed. The en-suite bathrooms are fitted with a shower, basin and toilet. There is an outside bathroom fitted with a bath and shower which is accessible from the main bedroom and also from the patio. There is air conditioning in both bedrooms as well as fans. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the appliances you could wish for and has a breakfast bar. The comfortable lounge is air conditioned and there is a smart TV with satellite channels and Wi-Fi. Outside is a spacious patio with built in braai facilities and outdoor furniture. The lovely pool has a view of the parkland where the animals roam freely and there is a boma with a fire pit next to the pool.; The home has electricity and water backup systems as well as a security system.

    Why do I have to pay a deposit?

    This is a sign of good faith. Properties hold rooms for you, which they could sell to someone else, so if you don't turn up, they lose revenue. By paying a deposit of 50% (industry standard) you show the property that you are intending to arrive and they will accordingly turn others away.

    Can I pay the deposit at month end?

    That depends on the property. Many have real time booking calendars, allowing people to book instantly online. If that's the case, bookings are first-come-first-book, and no rooms will be held provisionally unless specifically arranged. Send a request and ask for a specific payment date and they'll get back to you.

    What is 3D Secure?

    This is a security layer which checks that the person making the payment is the authorised cardholder by way of a one-time pin delivered by SMS or a secret code, ensuring the safety of your card.
