Honestly we’ve been to a lot of hot tub places but this one was super special. Super remote all alone on top of a hill but with the luxury of having an air fryer, gas stove, an amazing sun deck with sun beds, comfy chairs, our own fire pit to braai and melt some marshmallows and obviously the very spacious hot tub, indoor fireplace and plenty of wood. Honestly one can’t ask for more. We also had good internet with Telkom and some phone reception as well so it was remote but we could still do some work and browse and watch series on our iPad that we brought. Just start the hot tub early and crank it up :) because it is so spacious it can almost not overheat. Perfect getaway, thank you for the wine and rusks as well, made it extra special!

This place is off the chart beautiful, situated on top of a remote mountain, peaceful, inspiring, and j almost in heaven. Luxuriously out fitted, everything you can want, and the views from the hot tub are stunning. The hosts are superb. What a find! We will be back for sure

A Hidden Gem with Breathtaking Views We had an unforgettable stay at Cabin on the Hill just outside of Caledon on the way to Hermanus. The setting is truly magical. With sweeping views over the valley, spectacular sunsets, and a morning mist that makes you feel like you’re floating above the clouds. The sound of a distant stream and the gentle chorus of frogs throughout the day add to the peaceful, immersive experience in nature. The cabin itself is modern, beautifully decorated, and equipped with all the conveniences you could need. Every detail has been thoughtfully considered, making it both stylish and comfortable. Josh and his wife were warm, welcoming, and provided excellent service from start to finish. We’ve stayed at quite a few eco cabins, and we can confidently say that the view from this one is by far the best. If you're looking for a quiet retreat with soul-stirring scenery and genuine hospitality, this is the place.

We had an incredible stay at On The Hill. Pictures do not do the place justice. In my opinion, it is amongst the top luxury eco-cabins. Ultimate seclusion, 360 views of nature, all-round luxury, the place has everything you need to enjoy your stay. The hosts were also incredible. Thank you again to Josh and Annelet for their amazing hospitality.

We loved our weekend stay at this Idyllic, tranquil location. It was the perfect break from our city life, allowing us to relax and recharge. The house is well equipped with everything you'll need and beautifully decorated. The perfect romantic getaway.

The venue is exceptionally beautiful with views seen in magazines. The cottage is kitted with all the right amenities and makes for a peaceful stunning escape that will exceed all expectations. Highly recommended!

Experience incredible views in a secluded environment. See the stars from your bedroom at night, and when you are luxuriating in the hot tub. Enjoy nature while you braai in a rock enclosure that looks out onto the mountain. Josh is an amazingly helpful and friendly. You could not ask for a better place to forget the hustle and bustle of the world.

Unfortunately the weather was not good but despite that we still had an amazing stay. Can only imagine what it would have been if the weather was great. Such a beautiful place with stunning views over the Hemel-en-Aarde Valley. Josh is a perfect host going out of his way to make your stay a memorable one. Using a 4x4 going up to the cabin is advisable, but we were able to drive up to the cabin without one as long as vehicle has high enough ground clearance. Amenities is luxurious and everything you need to make your stay a memorable one is available. Do yourself a favour and book quickly since this new cabin is going to be very popular.
