Spacious accommodation in a mature treed garden. Very helpful staff. Adequate tasty meals, dinner and breakfast. Recommended as a place to stay when visiting nearby game reserves.

Ndumo River Lodge is highly recommended. The natural bush surroundings are a birder’s paradise with paths cut through the bush and beautiful tall trees and lawn between the buildings. Accommodation was luxury and although we were the only people at dinner, all four of us had an excellent meal. Everywhere is spotlessly clean. The staff are efficient, caring and friendly. The lodge needs support, particularly from birders, as it is safe to spend time birding on your own in an area of natural bush.
