About Lion Sands Narina Lodge

Narina Lodge is located on the Kruger Park side of Lion Sands Game Reserve. The Lodge offers Sabie accommodation with an air of relaxation, enhanced by natural décor and an open design extending out to generously furnished decks from where you can enjoy panoramic views of the Sabie River.

Here you can watch the animals feeding on the riverbank and engage in the social chatter this inevitably stirs, or meditate on the rustle of the leaves.

Accommodation

Narina Lodge offers exclusive accommodation, with private plunge pools and viewing decks overlooking the river. Leading off from the main lodge, raised wooden walkways connect to a spa sala and nine individual Suites.

Our Narina Suites perch on stilts among 100-year-old trees just up from the water, and link to a spa sala and intimate lodge via elevated walkways.

The lodge's nine luxury Suites are built to afford complete privacy in a wilderness where you can watch the animals come down to the water from your pool and deck, as well as bed and bath. This is where those in search of space and peace come to be in nature.

Glass sliding doors and windows open your sanctuary to the outside, while a canopy bed, sink-into-me couches, an egg bath you can wallow in up to your chin, and personal bar all add to the delight of being on safari – in style.

Dining

All meals, drinks and selected snacks are included. Guests can dine on our outdoor deck overlooking the river, in our indoor dining area, or in our boma. Intimate dinner settings may also be arranged in imaginative locations. Kosher dining is available.

Experience

Our Treehouses offer sprawling views of remote Africa, globed by even bigger star-lit skies. Below, the stillness is punctuated by animals’ whistles, huffs, and growls.

The Treehouse Experience is booked in conjunction with accommodation at the lodge of your choice, at an additional rate, per person per night. Your room remains ready for your return at any point. You’ll pack a stay-over bag with the essentials, leaving the rest of your belongings back at the lodge.

Activities

The activities programme has been developed to enhance the guest's safari experience by enabling the guest to tailor-make their stay with us. The activities are all offered in a flexible and convenient environment. The activities programme is uniquely exclusive to Lion Sands guests only. Activities included in the daily tariff are: Open Land Rover game drives; Bush Breakfasts; Bush Walks; Fishing; Wildlife Lectures; Picnic lunches; Hippopotamus Tour; Bush Dinners; Astronomy and Full-Moon Walks.

Additional Activities which are available but not included in the daily tariff are: Private Land Rover hire (Exclusivity, Specialist Photography, Bird watching); Health Spa; Clay pigeon Shooting; Sleep-out Hide. By Arrangement visits to: Kruger National Park (KNP) Golf Course; Helicopter flights to the Blyde River Canyon, Ballooning Safari, Hazyview and a visit to a Cultural Village.
