Milkwood Lodge 2 is elegantly furnished and accommodates seven adults and one child across three bedrooms and three bathrooms.

The main bedroom features a double bed and an en suite bathroom with a shower, basin, and toilet. The second bedroom is fitted with a single bed, a double bed, and a single bunk bed above, and it is served by a bathroom with a shower, basin, and toilet. The third bedroom, located in a separate annex, provides a private retreat for teenagers or couples seeking quiet, and includes a double bed with an attached bathroom equipped with a shower, basin, and toilet. Ceiling fans are installed in all bedrooms to ensure comfort.

The lounge comfortably seats six to eight guests, and a flat-screen TV with an open-view decoder is available; guests wishing to watch DSTV should bring their own decoder, smart card, and cables (HD decoder only, PVR and Explora units are not compatible).

A dining table with seating for six is provided, and the spacious patio deck off the lounge features outdoor furniture, a Weber kettle braai, and stunning sea views. The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering, including a stove, fridge, and microwave.

The complex offers a large swimming pool for guest enjoyment and a communal laundry area. Parking is provided for one vehicle, with additional visitor parking available behind secure fencing and a gate. A beach gate offers direct access to the shoreline via a short walkway.

All bedding is supplied; guests are requested to bring their own bath and beach towels. For those wishing to watch DSTV, a personal decoder, smart card, and necessary cables must be brought along (HD decoder only, PVR and Explora units are not supported).

    Why do I have to pay a deposit?

    This is a sign of good faith. Properties hold rooms for you, which they could sell to someone else, so if you don't turn up, they lose revenue. By paying a deposit of 50% (industry standard) you show the property that you are intending to arrive and they will accordingly turn others away.

    Can I pay the deposit at month end?

    That depends on the property. Many have real time booking calendars, allowing people to book instantly online. If that's the case, bookings are first-come-first-book, and no rooms will be held provisionally unless specifically arranged. Send a request and ask for a specific payment date and they'll get back to you.

    What is 3D Secure?

    This is a security layer which checks that the person making the payment is the authorised cardholder by way of a one-time pin delivered by SMS or a secret code, ensuring the safety of your card.

    3D secure is a legislated prerequisite for all online purchases in South Africa.
