The Milkwood Cottage offers accommodation for up to eight guests across four well-appointed bedrooms, three of which feature en-suite bathrooms. Each bedroom is fitted with a double bed for a restful night’s sleep. The fourth bedroom is located separately on the lower level, accessible via its own private entrance, and is complete with an en-suite bathroom.; ; The open-plan kitchen is equipped with essential appliances, including a refrigerator, microwave, and a countertop stove, allowing for convenient self-catering during your stay.; ; Guests are invited to make use of the braai facilities available on the deck or take a short stroll along a quiet garden pathway that leads to a secluded lapa. Surrounded by trees, the lapa features an open fireplace and a Weber braai, making it ideal for relaxed outdoor dining.; ; The garden is thoughtfully designed with families in mind, offering a variety of features such as an outdoor shower, a trampoline, swings, and a generously sized sandpit—ensuring children remain entertained while adults unwind on the deck. An outdoor bath is also available for guests to enjoy.; ; During the cooler months, heated blankets and a fireplace in the lounge provide a warm and inviting atmosphere. The cottage is located among indigenous trees, and the surrounding garden enhances the sense of peace and privacy. Guests can also enjoy a variety of leisure activities in the area, including swimming, fishing, and birdwatching.

    Why do I have to pay a deposit?

    This is a sign of good faith. Properties hold rooms for you, which they could sell to someone else, so if you don't turn up, they lose revenue. By paying a deposit of 50% (industry standard) you show the property that you are intending to arrive and they will accordingly turn others away.

    Can I pay the deposit at month end?

    That depends on the property. Many have real time booking calendars, allowing people to book instantly online. If that's the case, bookings are first-come-first-book, and no rooms will be held provisionally unless specifically arranged. Send a request and ask for a specific payment date and they'll get back to you.

    What is 3D Secure?

    This is a security layer which checks that the person making the payment is the authorised cardholder by way of a one-time pin delivered by SMS or a secret code, ensuring the safety of your card.
