Each bedroom is equipped with a queen-size bed and en-suite bathroom, with either a bath and shower combination or a shower alone. Guests are provided with fresh linen and bath towels.; ; The open-plan kitchen, adjoining the dining area, is fully equipped with modern conveniences, including a fridge-freezer, microwave, oven, gas stove, dishwasher, air fryer, and all necessary cutlery, crockery, and tea- and coffee-making facilities.; ; The living area is framed by large windows that offer sweeping views and opens out onto a veranda with outdoor seating. Additional outdoor spaces provide perfect spots to enjoy drinks or coffee while taking in the stunning scenery. The swimming pool overlooks both the mountains and False Bay.; ; For guests needing to stay connected, the house includes a dedicated workspace and complimentary Wi-Fi. Secure parking is available on-site at no extra charge. Mettahouse is ideally situated close to Glencairn Beach and Tidal Pool, as well as nearby attractions such as restaurants, Simon’s Town Harbour, the Naval Base, and Boulders Beach.

    Why do I have to pay a deposit?

    This is a sign of good faith. Properties hold rooms for you, which they could sell to someone else, so if you don't turn up, they lose revenue. By paying a deposit of 50% (industry standard) you show the property that you are intending to arrive and they will accordingly turn others away.

    Can I pay the deposit at month end?

    That depends on the property. Many have real time booking calendars, allowing people to book instantly online. If that's the case, bookings are first-come-first-book, and no rooms will be held provisionally unless specifically arranged. Send a request and ask for a specific payment date and they'll get back to you.

    What is 3D Secure?

    This is a security layer which checks that the person making the payment is the authorised cardholder by way of a one-time pin delivered by SMS or a secret code, ensuring the safety of your card.

    3D secure is a legislated prerequisite for all online purchases in South Africa.
