RATES INCLUDE:
Rates are for the entire lodge and include accommodation for your group, all meals, local beverages (excludes premium imported brands and Champagne), lodge activities on the property, scheduled safari activities on the reserve, including guided game drives, guided or unguided walks, guided horseback excursions (some experience needed for riders), locally selected refreshments on game drives, wireless internet connection at lodge only and VAT. In the event of a change in local taxes or the introduction of additional taxes these rates will be adjusted accordingly.
RATES EXCLUDE:
All off-reserve excursions arranged for the guests, including but not limited to airport transport, helicopter charters, wine cellar tours, cage diving, boating trips from Gordon’s Bay and massage treatments. Gratuities. Personal expenses. Premium imported brands and Champagne. Spa Treatments. Bicycle rental. Visas and flights.
Melozhori Private Game Reserve Lodge
Melozhori Private Game Reserve Lodge is a rambling thatched lodge that sits comfortably on the slopes above a picturesque dam looking south-west towards the seemingly never ending folds of blue mountains. Entering the lodge, the most characteristic smell of Africa greets you - open thatch. The vast thatch roof that spans the magnificent lounge and dining area and the bedrooms to either side. Through glass doors, your eye is led over the timber deck and rim-flow pool, onto the mountains beyond; you feel instantly at ease. Four generous en-suite bedrooms are furnished with King-size beds, and some with fireplaces, flow onto private decks, all overlooking the dam and valley beyond. There are two inside suites and two outside suites. The bathrooms are fitted with basin, toilet, shower or bath or both. Trees attract natural life to the fringes of the homestead; rise early and you're likely to be sharing the view with giraffes and browsing zebras. Being a family home, the environment is completely safe for children, who will delight in the open spaces and spotting game from our open game-drive vehicle.

Children of all ages are welcome.
How to confirm?
Deposits are required to confirm a booking, usually 50% but sometimes as high as 100% depending on season and time till check-in.
Cancellation policy
Cancellations made more than 30 days of the date of arrival is 25% of fee payable.
16.2 Cancellations made within 30 days of the date of arrival is 80% of fee payable.
16.3 Guaranteed reservations will be held for the first night only, after which the accommodation will be released and accommodation will be charged.
Melozhori Private Game Reserve shall also have the right in circumstances where the property is in the position to accept another confirmed reservation, to request the operator to confirm the reservation made, in which event the operator shall within 72 hours of receipt of advice from Melozhori Private Game Reserve either:
a) Confirm the reservation, in which case the operator shall furnish Melozhori Private Game Reserve with written confirmation of the reservation and acceptance of the cancellation policy as agreed upon by the parties;
b) Cancel the reservation.
