Each stand accommodates a maximum of four people and includes electricity and an easily accessible charging point. Every stand has its own private bathroom with a shower, toilet, basin and an outdoor shower. A well-equipped kitchenette is provided with dishwashing liquid, basic spices, a frying pan, casserole dish for braai, and cutlery and crockery for two people. For added convenience, each kitchenette includes a fridge/freezer, kettle, induction plate and microwave. Guests can enjoy a private porch with a built-in braai, with a braai grid and stand supplied. Wood and ice are available for purchase at the office. Additional amenities include free Wi-Fi, a swimming pool and access to the Red Ox Steakhouse on the premises. Guests are welcomed with coffee, tea and a braai broodjie, or freshly baked bread or a salad, on arrival.

    Why do I have to pay a deposit?

    This is a sign of good faith. Properties hold rooms for you, which they could sell to someone else, so if you don't turn up, they lose revenue. By paying a deposit of 50% (industry standard) you show the property that you are intending to arrive and they will accordingly turn others away.

    Can I pay the deposit at month end?

    That depends on the property. Many have real time booking calendars, allowing people to book instantly online. If that's the case, bookings are first-come-first-book, and no rooms will be held provisionally unless specifically arranged. Send a request and ask for a specific payment date and they'll get back to you.

    What is 3D Secure?

    This is a security layer which checks that the person making the payment is the authorised cardholder by way of a one-time pin delivered by SMS or a secret code, ensuring the safety of your card.
