La Mer 12 is a charming self-catering apartment located in the Lawrence Rocks area of Margate, a renowned coastal town in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. Situated in a secure complex, the apartment provides uninterrupted views of the Indian Ocean, creating an ideal setting for a relaxing beach getaway.

The main bedroom features a queen-size bed and an en-suite bathroom equipped with a bath, shower, toilet, and basin. The second bedroom contains a double bed and a single bed, while the third bedroom has two double beds. A second bathroom serves these rooms and includes a shower, toilet, and basin.

The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering, with a stove, oven, fridge-freezer, microwave, cutlery, and crockery, allowing guests to prepare meals with ease. The open-plan living and dining area is furnished with a dining table, comfortable couches, and a television for entertainment.

Sliding doors from the lounge and main bedroom open onto a spacious patio, where guests can enjoy the stunning sea view. The patio is furnished and includes a braai for leisurely outdoor meals and social gatherings.

The complex offers a communal swimming pool for guests to enjoy, secure basement parking, and an additional allocated parking bay. A lift provides convenient access from the basement to the apartment level.

    Why do I have to pay a deposit?

    This is a sign of good faith. Properties hold rooms for you, which they could sell to someone else, so if you don't turn up, they lose revenue. By paying a deposit of 50% (industry standard) you show the property that you are intending to arrive and they will accordingly turn others away.

    Can I pay the deposit at month end?

    That depends on the property. Many have real time booking calendars, allowing people to book instantly online. If that's the case, bookings are first-come-first-book, and no rooms will be held provisionally unless specifically arranged. Send a request and ask for a specific payment date and they'll get back to you.

    What is 3D Secure?

    This is a security layer which checks that the person making the payment is the authorised cardholder by way of a one-time pin delivered by SMS or a secret code, ensuring the safety of your card.
