It has twin beds (convertible to a king), a ceiling fan, and two large sash windows with views of the back garden, outdoor sitting area, and pool. The adjacent bathroom includes a walk-in shower, toilet, basin, and underfloor heating.; ; Designed for seamless indoor-outdoor living, the open-plan living, dining, and kitchen area connects effortlessly with the garden, offering magnificent mountain views. The space is graced by old fruit trees, and the home's proportions complement the surrounding lawn and pool.; ; The large sitting room offers multiple seating options, from designer sofas by the fire to a TV snug. The well-equipped kitchen features a gas hob, electric oven, fridge/freezer, and all necessary appliances and utensils. Dining options include alfresco under the pergola, by the pool, at the breakfast island, or around the table for four. Franschhoek's renowned restaurants are just a 5-minute walk away. The laundry is equipped with a washing machine and tumble dryer.; ; Spend summer days in the rim-flow pool (unheated, 7.5 x 3.6m), relax in the sun-drenched sitting room, or unwind on the lawn under a tree. In cooler months, enjoy the wood-burner and a glass of wine while dinner cooks in the oven.     Why do I have to pay a deposit?

    This is a sign of good faith. Properties hold rooms for you, which they could sell to someone else, so if you don't turn up, they lose revenue. By paying a deposit of 50% (industry standard) you show the property that you are intending to arrive and they will accordingly turn others away.

    Can I pay the deposit at month end?

    That depends on the property. Many have real time booking calendars, allowing people to book instantly online. If that's the case, bookings are first-come-first-book, and no rooms will be held provisionally unless specifically arranged. Send a request and ask for a specific payment date and they'll get back to you.

    What is 3D Secure?

    This is a security layer which checks that the person making the payment is the authorised cardholder by way of a one-time pin delivered by SMS or a secret code, ensuring the safety of your card.

    3D secure is a legislated prerequisite for all online purchases in South Africa.
