We had a thoroughly enjoyable & rejuvenating stay - unfortunately could only be one night. The Barn Cottage was comfortable & our hosts were most welcoming & helpful. The engagement with the animal farm characters made it a unique & memorable encounter! Sadly not fishing season, but my sons had an invigorating plunge in the river!

We had a truly fabulous holiday, Lucinda, Tom and he staff are such kind and knowledgeable hosts, the cottage is just perfect and the setting revitalizes your soul. If you're looking to escape, recuperate and have fun this is the place!

Tom and Lucinda were very hospitable hosts and the cottage was such excellent value for money. I would stay there any day. The peace and tranquility of the farm was made even more wonderful by the cosy, log fire and the big, comfy bed at night. Thank you for a great trip up the hill to see the sunset over the Mhlozaan and the full moon rising simultaneously, what a delightful stay!

It is a real peaceful haven away from the hustle & bustle of urban life. The beautiful, large luxurious house with its exquisite antique decor is a real pleasure to live in. The panoramic views of the hills and valleys from the verandah that wraps around the house are magnificent- breathtaking! Enjoyed watching the cattle graze & feeding the calves.. Thanks to our hospitable hosts Lucinda & Tom who were so friendly & caring. We highly recommend this getaway.👌
