Inn for a Penny has two deluxe rooms and is situated in a large picturesque garden with sparkling pool, water features and exotic plants, not to mention the birdlife. Each of the rooms has a Queen-size bed and en-suite bathroom with a shower and bath. Air conditioning, under carpet heating, dressing gowns, hairdryer, DStv / satellite channels and a guest tray are all features of the rooms. The property has a large glass enclosed patio with comfortable seating and a large twelve seater table. The building has ducted central evaporation cooling climate control system and underfloor/under carpet heating. Fibre Wi-Fi and a state-of-the-art solar backup system which virtually eliminates the negative effect of load shedding.

    Why do I have to pay a deposit?

    This is a sign of good faith. Properties hold rooms for you, which they could sell to someone else, so if you don't turn up, they lose revenue. By paying a deposit of 50% (industry standard) you show the property that you are intending to arrive and they will accordingly turn others away.

    Can I pay the deposit at month end?

    That depends on the property. Many have real time booking calendars, allowing people to book instantly online. If that's the case, bookings are first-come-first-book, and no rooms will be held provisionally unless specifically arranged. Send a request and ask for a specific payment date and they'll get back to you.

    What is 3D Secure?

    This is a security layer which checks that the person making the payment is the authorised cardholder by way of a one-time pin delivered by SMS or a secret code, ensuring the safety of your card.
