•	A cancellation fee of 15% of the gross rental amount will be levied if the booking is cancelled more than 6 (six) weeks prior to the anticipated arrival date. 
•	A cancellation fee of 50% of the total rental amount will be levied if the booking is cancelled between 4 (four) to 6 (six) weeks prior to the anticipated arrival date. 
•	A cancellation fee of 100% of the total rental amount will be levied if the booking is cancelled less than four weeks prior to the anticipated arrival date. 
•	Partial refunds may apply, depending on the ability to re-let the property for the applicable period at a similar rate. 
•	Rental is due for the entire period booked. No refunds will be permitted for early departures, delays in arrival or failure to arrive, or for any reason whatsoever. 
•	No house substitutions will be accepted after payment has been made and owners have been paid to secure the booking. 
•	In the event of force majeure, such circumstances include without limitation natural disasters or act of God; acts of terrorism; war; government act or orders; epidemics; pandemics or communicable disease; national or regional emergencies that are beyond either party’s reasonable control, the contract will be suspended for the entire period during which the force majeure occurrence continues. Guests will be able to postpone their booking for a similar, future period, during a similar season without any penalties and up to a 6 month period thereafter. Should a guest decide to rather cancel their booking, cancellation fees as per above will apply.

Imbali Lakes 4 is a self catering holiday apartment sleeping eight guests in four rooms. The large, spacious bedrooms and en-suite bathrooms make for high quality living. The main bedroom is furnished with a King-size bed, the second and third bedrooms each have a Queen-size bed, and the fourth bedroom is equipped with two single beds. The bathrooms are fitted with a shower or bath or both. The well thought out floor plan provides for a central living area, fully equipped kitchen and entertainment area that is flanked by bedrooms on either side of this single level unit. The large under-cover patio is the perfect place to enjoy the jaw-dropping views from yet private and private when needed. The basement parking provides for a lock-up double garage and three additional exclusive use parking bays.

Why do I have to pay a deposit?

This is a sign of good faith. Properties hold rooms for you, which they could sell to someone else, so if you don't turn up, they lose revenue. By paying a deposit of 50% (industry standard) you show the property that you are intending to arrive and they will accordingly turn others away.

Can I pay the deposit at month end?

That depends on the property. Many have real time booking calendars, allowing people to book instantly online. If that's the case, bookings are first-come-first-book, and no rooms will be held provisionally unless specifically arranged. Send a request and ask for a specific payment date and they'll get back to you.

What is 3D Secure?

This is a security layer which checks that the person making the payment is the authorised cardholder by way of a one-time pin delivered by SMS or a secret code, ensuring the safety of your card.

3D secure is a legislated prerequisite for all online purchases in South Africa.
