Huntsdrift Lodge is a self catering holiday villa, booked exclusively for groups and consists of four separate chalets. Additional amenities for the comfort of our guests in each chalet include a bar fridge, tea / coffee station and a hair dryer. The first chalet is furnished with two three-quarter beds and an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower, toilet and a basin. There is a small deck to sit, relax and enjoy the view. The second chalet is next to the pool area and is furnished with two three-quarter beds and an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower, toilet and a basin. There is a small deck to relax on. The third chalet has a courtyard view and is furnished with a double bed and an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower, toilet and a basin. The fourth chalet is the largest and is furnished with two three-quarter beds and an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower, toilet and a basin. There is also a loft room accessed from the outside furnished with two three-quarter beds. This chalet also has a small kitchen with a bar fridge, microwave and a two plate stove. The main Lodge area has an open plan kitchen with an indoor braai and lounge / dining area. There is a lovely boma (outside braai area) to enjoy a braai under a canopy of stars. For those hot summer days, guests can enjoy cooling off in the pool which is situated next to the entertainment area.

    Why do I have to pay a deposit?

    This is a sign of good faith. Properties hold rooms for you, which they could sell to someone else, so if you don't turn up, they lose revenue. By paying a deposit of 50% (industry standard) you show the property that you are intending to arrive and they will accordingly turn others away.

    Can I pay the deposit at month end?

    That depends on the property. Many have real time booking calendars, allowing people to book instantly online. If that's the case, bookings are first-come-first-book, and no rooms will be held provisionally unless specifically arranged. Send a request and ask for a specific payment date and they'll get back to you.

    What is 3D Secure?

    This is a security layer which checks that the person making the payment is the authorised cardholder by way of a one-time pin delivered by SMS or a secret code, ensuring the safety of your card.

    3D secure is a legislated prerequisite for all online purchases in South Africa.
