Accommodation
Hillside Manor is a holiday home on a game reserve in Karoo Heartland. The manor sleep six guests and has three rooms, two are furnished with a King-size bed and one is furnished with twin beds. Each room has an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower, toilet and basin and one of them has a bath as well.
The living area is a great place to relax and has plenty of seating and a fireplace. There is a TV with satellite channels and Wi-Fi. The manor has a swimming pool and a private safari vehicle with ranger.
Given that the Hillside Manor property is not walled, it is not uncommon to entertain surprise guests courtesy of Mother Nature.

Experience
Two daily game drives are included. The reserve offers a host of activities, from game drives and guided bush walks, to cheetah tracking, star gazing and Anglo Boer War talks at an historic site on the reserve. Situated in a malaria-free area, it is the ideal option for a family getaway and welcomes children of all ages. The reserve is home to white rhino, Cape buffalo, cheetah, giraffe, mountain zebra, a host of antelope, newly re-introduced lions (the first time Mount Camdeboo has had lions in 180 years) and an abundance of birds and unique Cape flora.
