Self Catering Accommodation

Studio Deluxe is open plan and furnished with a King-size bed. The en-suite bathroom is fitted with a bath, shower, toilet and dual basins.

The kitchenette is equipped with an induction stove top, bar fridge, tea / coffee making facilities, kettle, crockery and cutlery. Comfortable arm chairs and a fireplace complete the space. Sliding doors lead out to the private patio with outside table and chairs, braai facilities, pizza oven, swimming pool, fire pit and garden, all available to guests in the Studio Deluxe.

Children

Studio Deluxe is designed for two adults, but we can accommodate a baby or a small child. We do allow it and can even add a mattress on the floor or a camper cot with linen. We do not charge for children under 2 years.

Attractions

This quirky town - the oldest in the Central Karoo - is rich in history that holds intrigue for the scientist, the historian and the eco-tourist. Not only was the first reptile fossil discovered near here, in what has subsequently been described as the world’s richest collecting ground for these fossils, but the town's historic centre displays an eclectic mix of historical architecture that makes a stop-over here essential.

Karoo National Park is a mere 6km drive away. Other attractions include a visit to local museums as well as guided donkey cart tours and scenic routes into the mountains.
