Goodluck Homestead is a beautiful working regenerative farm in the heart of the Overberg, with panoramic views towards Walker Bay and the Kleinriviersberg mountains.; ; Garden Cottage is our charming 4 sleeper family getaway. Nestled in the heart of the homestead, overlooking the organic veggie garden and surrounded by nature and friendly farm animals. A stone's throw from the beautiful swimming and fishing dams.; ; Garden Cottage sleeps 4 and is situated in the heart of the farmstead, a minutes walk to the beautiful dams for swimming and fishing, and leads on to our organic veggie garden.; ; Guests are welcome to wander around the farm, swim and fish in the dams, and meander through the veggie gardens.; ; Goodluck Homestead is a working farm using regenerative farming practices, therefor no toxic herbicides and pesticides are used, but please be aware there may be noise disturbances at certain times. We will endeavour to warn guests in advance of farming activities such as spraying and use of machinery, which can be short notice as they are weather dependent.

    Why do I have to pay a deposit?

    This is a sign of good faith. Properties hold rooms for you, which they could sell to someone else, so if you don't turn up, they lose revenue. By paying a deposit of 50% (industry standard) you show the property that you are intending to arrive and they will accordingly turn others away.

    Can I pay the deposit at month end?

    That depends on the property. Many have real time booking calendars, allowing people to book instantly online. If that's the case, bookings are first-come-first-book, and no rooms will be held provisionally unless specifically arranged. Send a request and ask for a specific payment date and they'll get back to you.

    What is 3D Secure?

    This is a security layer which checks that the person making the payment is the authorised cardholder by way of a one-time pin delivered by SMS or a secret code, ensuring the safety of your card.
