Esprit da Sea is fully furnished, and the main bedroom is furnished with a double bed and the en-suite bathroom is fitted with a walk-in shower, toilet and basin. The second bedroom is furnished with a double bed, and the third bedroom has two single beds. The second bathroom is shared between these two rooms and is fitted with a shower, basin and toilet. The kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge-freezer, oven and a stove, microwave, tumble-dryer and a washing machine. There is a dining area with a table and seating that seats 6 guests with a built-in braai and TV, guests are welcome to rent DStv premium from the owner at an additional cost per day. A secure, lock-up garage is available for two vehicles to park in. Towels, black bags, soaps (kitchen and bathroom), extra blankets, wood, food or toiletries are not provided.

    Why do I have to pay a deposit?

    This is a sign of good faith. Properties hold rooms for you, which they could sell to someone else, so if you don't turn up, they lose revenue. By paying a deposit of 50% (industry standard) you show the property that you are intending to arrive and they will accordingly turn others away.

    Can I pay the deposit at month end?

    That depends on the property. Many have real time booking calendars, allowing people to book instantly online. If that's the case, bookings are first-come-first-book, and no rooms will be held provisionally unless specifically arranged. Send a request and ask for a specific payment date and they'll get back to you.

    What is 3D Secure?

    This is a security layer which checks that the person making the payment is the authorised cardholder by way of a one-time pin delivered by SMS or a secret code, ensuring the safety of your card.

    3D secure is a legislated prerequisite for all online purchases in South Africa.
