Eltos Karoo Stay Guest Farm is a two bedroom house accommodating up to five guests. The main bedroom is furnished with a double bed and the second bedroom is furnished with a three quarter bed and a bunk bed. The bathroom is fitted with a shower, toilet and basin. The kitchen is equipped with a two plate gas stove, gas fridge / freezer, tea and coffee making facilities, crockery and cutlery. Tea, coffee, sugar and milk are provided. There is an enclosed braai room with seating and counter where guests can enjoy preparing a meal together. There is also an outdoor braai where guests can experience the beautiful Karoo night sky. Braai wood can be purchased on the farm. Covered parking is available next to the house.

    Why do I have to pay a deposit?

    This is a sign of good faith. Properties hold rooms for you, which they could sell to someone else, so if you don't turn up, they lose revenue. By paying a deposit of 50% (industry standard) you show the property that you are intending to arrive and they will accordingly turn others away.

    Can I pay the deposit at month end?

    That depends on the property. Many have real time booking calendars, allowing people to book instantly online. If that's the case, bookings are first-come-first-book, and no rooms will be held provisionally unless specifically arranged. Send a request and ask for a specific payment date and they'll get back to you.

    What is 3D Secure?

    This is a security layer which checks that the person making the payment is the authorised cardholder by way of a one-time pin delivered by SMS or a secret code, ensuring the safety of your card.

    3D secure is a legislated prerequisite for all online purchases in South Africa.
