Close to the edge, this lovely, cosy cottage for two also has spectacular views, two comfy chairs in front of the log fire-place, a king-size bed with feather duvet, and a bath big enough for two! It has a fully equipped open-plan kitchen.

Stargazer Cottage

Stargazer' is a lovely, cosy thatched cottage with beautiful views from every room. It has two bedrooms both en-suite. One bedroom has a double bed, the other, two single beds. All the beds have fluffy feather duvets and electric blankets. The comfortable lounge and diningroom has a large stone fireplace. It also has fully equipped kitchen, and veranda with outside braai. The Stargazer cottage has a big grass lawn infront of it. Stunning views of the mountains are visible from almost anywhere inside and outside this cottage.

Cliff Cottages

There are spectacular views from every corner of this very special cottage, even from the luxurious king-size bed. The lovely en-suite bathroom has a view, a bath and a double shower! Stack-away doors open from the comfortable living area onto a sunny deck, - the perfect spot for a sundowner, or to sit and admire the wonders mother nature. There is a double-sided wood burning fireplace between the lounge and bedroom area. The dining area has an indoor braai and is open-plan with the fully equipped kitchen.

Garden Rooms

Ideal for overnight or short stays, these 10 en-suite rooms each has its own entrance. The bathrooms have showers, not baths. These rooms are not equipped for self-catering, but each has a tea and coffee facilities and "honesty" basket with assorted snacks and refreshments. Bedding and towels are provided.

Close to our Labyrinth, these two separate, lovely cottages each sleep two and are only a 50m stroll to the edge of the cliff and the view sight. The cottages have beautiful old furniture, en-suite bathrooms with showers, open plan living areas with a fire place, and are fully equipped for self-catering. Daedalus' Shelter has two single beds, and Minos' Keep has a double bed

    Frequently Asked Questions

    Why do I have to pay a deposit?

    This is a sign of good faith. Properties hold rooms for you, which they could sell to someone else, so if you don't turn up, they lose revenue. By paying a deposit of 50% (industry standard) you show the property that you are intending to arrive and they will accordingly turn others away.

    Can I pay the deposit at month end?

    That depends on the property. Many have real time booking calendars, allowing people to book instantly online. If that's the case, bookings are first-come-first-book, and no rooms will be held provisionally unless specifically arranged. Send a request and ask for a specific payment date and they'll get back to you.

    What is 3D Secure?

    This is a security layer which checks that the person making the payment is the authorised cardholder by way of a one-time pin delivered by SMS or a secret code, ensuring the safety of your card.

    3D secure is a legislated prerequisite for all online purchases in South Africa.
