Accommodating up to six guests, the cottage includes three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The main bedroom, located upstairs, is equipped with a queen-size bed and an in-room bath along with an en-suite toilet and washbasin. The other two bedrooms are downstairs; one has two single beds, and the other a queen-size bed. These rooms share a bathroom with both a bath and a shower. The lower level features an open-plan living area with a fully equipped kitchen, including a gas stove, electric oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, cutlery, and crockery, along with a breakfast bar and stools. Adjacent to the kitchen is a breakfast nook for communal dining. The lounge area offers comfortable seating and a flat-screen TV, with free Wi-Fi access available. The cottage opens onto a covered front patio, which features an outdoor dining table, a built-in braai, and a welcoming jacuzzi. This space is perfect for relaxing and enjoying a sundowner while the fire is burning.

    Why do I have to pay a deposit?

    This is a sign of good faith. Properties hold rooms for you, which they could sell to someone else, so if you don't turn up, they lose revenue. By paying a deposit of 50% (industry standard) you show the property that you are intending to arrive and they will accordingly turn others away.

    Can I pay the deposit at month end?

    That depends on the property. Many have real time booking calendars, allowing people to book instantly online. If that's the case, bookings are first-come-first-book, and no rooms will be held provisionally unless specifically arranged. Send a request and ask for a specific payment date and they'll get back to you.

    What is 3D Secure?

    This is a security layer which checks that the person making the payment is the authorised cardholder by way of a one-time pin delivered by SMS or a secret code, ensuring the safety of your card.

    3D secure is a legislated prerequisite for all online purchases in South Africa.
