Bourne View

Bourne View is spacious self catering holiday home with two bedrooms, each with their own bathrooms and toilets. The main bedroom is furnished with a Queen-size bed and has an en-suite bathroom. The second room has twin beds with a separate bathroom. The bathrooms have showers, toilets and basins. Both bedrooms have under-floor heating and electric blankets for winter nights. Bed linen and bathroom towels are provided. The living area features two wood burning fireplaces, one in the lounge and the other in the kitchen area which is well-equipped and contains a fridge / freezer, microwave, oven, stove, toaster, tea / coffee making facilities as well as ample built-in cupboards. The lounge has comfortable sofas and a TV that has full DStv / satellite. This leads into the dining area, sun room and an enclosed verandah that contains a Weber braai braai enthusiasts. There is an additional lounge/verandah leading out to the front garden and koi pond. There is a live-in caretaker on the premises who helps with additional services such as laundry. Parking is available for one vehicle. Bourne View is within close proximity to various shops and facilities and is a two hour drive to central Drakensberg.

    Why do I have to pay a deposit?

    This is a sign of good faith. Properties hold rooms for you, which they could sell to someone else, so if you don't turn up, they lose revenue. By paying a deposit of 50% (industry standard) you show the property that you are intending to arrive and they will accordingly turn others away.

    Can I pay the deposit at month end?

    That depends on the property. Many have real time booking calendars, allowing people to book instantly online. If that's the case, bookings are first-come-first-book, and no rooms will be held provisionally unless specifically arranged. Send a request and ask for a specific payment date and they'll get back to you.

    What is 3D Secure?

    This is a security layer which checks that the person making the payment is the authorised cardholder by way of a one-time pin delivered by SMS or a secret code, ensuring the safety of your card.
