Beacon House Apartment 1 is a self catering holiday apartment in Knysna, situated on the first floor on the northern (town) side of the building. The master bedroom is furnished with a king size extra length bed and has an en- suite bathroom fitted with a bath, shower, toilet and basin. This bedroom is west facing and has views of the western Head and has access to a spacious deck. The second bedroom is furnished with an extra length double bed and is also west facing and has views of the western Head. This bedroom also has access to a spacious deck. The third bedroom is furnished with an extra length double bed and is east facing and has no lagoon view. Bedrooms two and three share a spacious bathroom fitted with a bath, shower, toilet and basin. There is a fully equipped kitchen and a separate scullery and laundry. The apartment boasts a bar, dining area, lounge with DStv and a reading nook. Outside there is a patio running the full length of the apartment with weber braai, dining table and sun loungers. Undercover parking is provided.

    Why do I have to pay a deposit?

    This is a sign of good faith. Properties hold rooms for you, which they could sell to someone else, so if you don't turn up, they lose revenue. By paying a deposit of 50% (industry standard) you show the property that you are intending to arrive and they will accordingly turn others away.

    Can I pay the deposit at month end?

    That depends on the property. Many have real time booking calendars, allowing people to book instantly online. If that's the case, bookings are first-come-first-book, and no rooms will be held provisionally unless specifically arranged. Send a request and ask for a specific payment date and they'll get back to you.

    What is 3D Secure?

    This is a security layer which checks that the person making the payment is the authorised cardholder by way of a one-time pin delivered by SMS or a secret code, ensuring the safety of your card.
