Any bookings made with 60 days of check-in date, full payment is required to secure the booking. No refund on cancellation. 
 
OUT OF SEASON 
Cancellation 8 weeks or more prior to check-in date - 90% refund 
Cancellation 6 - 7 weeks prior to check-in date - 75% refund 
Cancellation 4 - 5 weeks prior to check-in date - 50% refund 
Cancellation 2 - 3 weeks prior to check-in date - 25% refund 
Cancellation less than 2 weeks prior to check-in date - no refund 
 
PLEASE NOTE 
Aristo Manor Guest House will levy an 8% admin fee on any refunded amount 
 
All cancellations should be submitted in writing per fax or e-mail to Aristo Manor Guest House, where we will calculate the refund according to the cancellation policy. The processing of a refund will be handled by our financial officer which could take anything from two to three weeks. 
 
Refunds are done strictly via EFT, so please do not expect cash payment when making a cancellation. 
 
Refunds or/and reductions in rate are not permitted for late arrivals or early departures. 
 
In the event of premature departure, the full extent of the stay as originally booked and confirmed will be charged.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why do I have to pay a deposit?

This is a sign of good faith. Properties hold rooms for you, which they could sell to someone else, so if you don't turn up, they lose revenue. By paying a deposit of 50% (industry standard) you show the property that you are intending to arrive and they will accordingly turn others away.

Can I pay the deposit at month end?

That depends on the property. Many have real time booking calendars, allowing people to book instantly online. If that's the case, bookings are first-come-first-book, and no rooms will be held provisionally unless specifically arranged. Send a request and ask for a specific payment date and they'll get back to you.

What is 3D Secure?

This is a security layer which checks that the person making the payment is the authorised cardholder by way of a one-time pin delivered by SMS or a secret code, ensuring the safety of your card.

3D secure is a legislated prerequisite for all online purchases in South Africa.
