AppleBee I has its own private garden. The cottage has a separate bedroom with a queen bed and a full bathroom with shower and bath. There is a 2nd bedroom with twin beds (or a king bed) and a three quarter sleeper couch in the lounge. They share the same bathroom fitted with a bath, shower, toilet and basin. It is set up for self-catering with everything required, including a table to work at, gas/electric stove, full size fridge/freezer, microwave, fan, heater, electric blankets, etc.

The AppleBee Annex is a newly renovated room in the main house with a private entrance. Even though it is furnished with a queen bed in the bedroom and is only available for single occupation. It has a wet-room en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower, toiet, and basin. There is full DSTV, a desk, couple of chairs, Wi-Fi, microwave, toaster, kettle, bar fridge, electric blanket, fan and heater, hairdryer, etc. You may hear some normal house noise.

      Why do I have to pay a deposit?

      This is a sign of good faith. Properties hold rooms for you, which they could sell to someone else, so if you don't turn up, they lose revenue. By paying a deposit of 50% (industry standard) you show the property that you are intending to arrive and they will accordingly turn others away.

      Can I pay the deposit at month end?

      That depends on the property. Many have real time booking calendars, allowing people to book instantly online. If that's the case, bookings are first-come-first-book, and no rooms will be held provisionally unless specifically arranged.
