Allie's Place

Allie's Place is a self catering holiday home ideally suited for six adults and six children or eight adults and four children. The house has five bedrooms. four bathrooms, two of which contain a bath, and a guest toilet. Bed linen, bath and face towels are provided. The main bedroom has a King-size bed and a TV with DStv. The second bedroom has a Queen-size bed. The third bedroom has a Double bed. The fourth bedroom has two single beds. The fifth bedroom contains two double bunks, a pool table and a wall mounted flat screen TV with DStv. Double doors open onto a patio area with seating. One of the bathrooms are downstairs and is shared by the double room and the room with 2 single beds next to it. The second bath is in the en-suite bathroom adjacent to the main bedroom upstairs. There is a fully equipped kitchen with a stove, oven, fridge / freezer, microwave, dishwasher, cutlery, crockery and a breakfast bar with stools. The dining area has seating for twelve guests. The lounge area has comfortable furniture and opens onto a deck with braai, outdoor dining table and seating. The lounge has large windows providing sea views from here as well as from the deck. There is also a large secluded patio area in the garden behind the house. Braai facilities are available there, as well as a large outside table for meals.

    Frequently Asked Questions

    Why do I have to pay a deposit?

    This is a sign of good faith. Properties hold rooms for you, which they could sell to someone else, so if you don't turn up, they lose revenue. By paying a deposit of 50% (industry standard) you show the property that you are intending to arrive and they will accordingly turn others away.

    Can I pay the deposit at month end?

    That depends on the property. Many have real time booking calendars, allowing people to book instantly online. If that's the case, bookings are first-come-first-book, and no rooms will be held provisionally unless specifically arranged. Send a request and ask for a specific payment date and they'll get back to you.

    What is 3D Secure?

    This is a security layer which checks that the person making the payment is the authorised cardholder by way of a one-time pin delivered by SMS or a secret code, ensuring the safety of your card.

    3D secure is a legislated prerequisite for all online purchases in South Africa.
