1. A cancellation fee of 18% of the total gross rental amount, subject to a minimum cancellation fee will be levied if the booking is cancelled more than six weeks prior to the anticipated arrival date. 
2. A cancellation fee of 50% of the total rental amount will be levied if the booking is cancelled between four to six weeks prior to the anticipated arrival date. Partial refunds do not apply. 
3. A cancellation fee of 100% of the total rental amount will be levied if the booking is cancelled less than four weeks prior to the anticipated arrival date. Partial refunds may apply, depending on the ability to re-let for the applicable period at a similar rate. 
4. Rental is due for the period booked and no refunds will be permitted, should departure occur at an earlier date for any reason whatsoever, or if a NO show should occur. 
5. No house substitutions will be accepted after payment has been received. 
6. We reserve the right not to quote or even to cancel bookings where clients are below the age of 21, clients are planning large parties/ gatherings or group bookings where noise disturbances are anticipated. 
Guests will be expelled from the Estate with no refund and can be blacklisted from future bookings.

5 Driftwood is a self catering holiday home in Zimbali with four bedrooms each furnished with a double bed. The main bedroom en-suite bathroom is fitted with a bath, shower, toilet and basin. The second bedroom en-suite bathroom is fitted with a bath, toilet and basin. The third bedroom en-suite bathroom is fitted with bath, shower, toilet and basin. The fourth bedroom en-suite bathroom is fitted with a shower, toilet and basin. The home has two lounges, with the dining-room on the same level. There is air conditioning and the lounge has a TV with DStv satellite channels. The kitchen is fully equipped and boasts a washing machine, tumble dryer and dishwasher for convenience. There is a large indoor bar, outside built -in braai and private pool. The undercover outdoor entertainment areas are large and very comfortable adding significantly to this house. Guests are welcome to make use of the estate facilities including the golf course, swimming pools, bar, restaurant, children’s play areas and more.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why do I have to pay a deposit?

This is a sign of good faith. Properties hold rooms for you, which they could sell to someone else, so if you don't turn up, they lose revenue. By paying a deposit of 50% (industry standard) you show the property that you are intending to arrive and they will accordingly turn others away.

Can I pay the deposit at month end?

That depends on the property. Many have real time booking calendars, allowing people to book instantly online. If that's the case, bookings are first-come-first-book, and no rooms will be held provisionally unless specifically arranged. Send a request and ask for a specific payment date and they'll get back to you.

What is 3D Secure?

This is a security layer which checks that the person making the payment is the authorised cardholder by way of a one-time pin delivered by SMS or a secret code, ensuring the safety of your card.

3D secure is a legislated prerequisite for all online purchases in South Africa.
