About Pellissier House Museum
The Pellissier Museum (built in 1843), originally the home of reverend J,P Pellisier, a French missionary, now depicts the history of events and happenings in the surround area. Situated in Bethulie in the Free State, visitors feel as though they have gone back in time while walking around this old house.
On display you will see original furniture, photo galleries, clothes, war relics, farm implements and vehicles. The exhibition of the missionaries who worked here and the history in Bethulie is absolutely fascinating as is the building its housed in which is the oldest settler building still standing in the Free State.
